E-commerce Terms for Houstrup Camping

Sales and Delivery Terms
Below, you’ll find useful information regarding the use of online booking. You can read about how we handle your entered information, how you will receive your receipt for a purchase, and much more. When the term "HOUSTRUP" is used, it refers to Houstrup Camping.

Payment
All prices listed in HOUSTRUP’s online booking system, as well as elsewhere on the website, are stated in Danish kroner, including VAT and all applicable fees, unless otherwise specified clearly in the specific situation.

Payment is made using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards in the online booking system, including but not limited to Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, and Diners. No transaction fee is applied for transactions made through online booking.

Information about Online Shopping
You can shop safely on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are typically protected against potential misuse of your credit card online, meaning there is no deductible in case of misuse of your payment card online. Shipping and Delivery
When booking and paying for a cabin, rental tent, pitch for your own tent, or pitch for your own caravan, you will be presented with a contract from HOUSTRUP, which will detail the breakdown of your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after completing the booking and will also be sent via email immediately after the purchase if a valid email address is provided by the buyer.

Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at HOUSTRUP on the arrival day (and concludes on the departure day). Both these times are provided in the contract mentioned above.

Right of Withdrawal and Refund
Please note that the usual 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases does not apply to the purchase of accommodation or renting a campsite for specific dates, as these are time-sensitive services (under the exceptions in the Consumer Contracts Act). However, you can cancel your booking under the following conditions:

• If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, you will be refunded the full amount, except for an administrative fee of DKK 500.
• If you cancel less than 60 days before arrival, cancellation is not possible, and the paid amount will not be refunded.
• Please note that seasonal pitches, including spring, autumn, and winter pitches, are non-refundable.

Registration of Information
HOUSTRUP registers your name, address, email, and other information provided during the purchase in its customer database. This information is not shared, and HOUSTRUP keeps the registration for 5 years, in accordance with the Accounting Act.

HOUSTRUP uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site. When paying by credit card, the registration occurs through a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.

Complaint Handling
If, for any reason, you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase and have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or phone number below.

Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself, or the product (the stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error through normal review of your contract. Please note that the 2-year complaint period (under the Sale of Goods Act) applies, but only for any faults detected at the start of the stay. Complaints must be made no later than the end of the stay.

When HOUSTRUP receives your complaint regarding a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. HOUSTRUP will decide whether the received product should be refunded, exchanged, or a price reduction should be offered.
